Septimus The Giant Shrewsbury Cobbler Exhibition.
Shrewsbury Morris were delighted to invite you to follow the story behind the construction of Septimus the Giant Shrewsbury Cobbler, admiring the special pojagi patchwork flags that accompany performances of the giant processional puppet and guide your eyes upwards to view Septimus himself.
The Septimus Giant Shrewsbury Cobbler project was undertaken with funding from Arts Council England and Shrewsbury Town Council. Over the next few years the exhibition will be available for viewing in a range of venues and locations in and around Shrewsbury.
What better place to start though than in The Darwin Room in Shrewsbury Library. All were welcome to view this exhibition from Monday March 2nd 2020. A wonderful exhibition in this historical setting, combining, tradition, creativity, talent and much more.
